Shaif Asif is the Regional Sales Director for Riverbed’s industry-leading Acceleration portfolio across the EMEA and APJ regions since January 2024. Prior to this he has held several other sales roles at Riverbed, since joining the company in June 2022. Leading a highly-experienced sales team in EMEA and APJ, Shaik has overall responsibility for sales and the execution of Riverbed’s go-to-market model for Riverbed’s Acceleration solutions which provide fast, agile, secure acceleration of any app, over any network, to users anywhere. Shaik’s role involves new business development as well as driving closer engagement with enterprise customers and strategic partners, ensuring our customers receive excellent value and superior business performance from their IT investment.
Shaik has over 20+ years’ experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining Riverbed, he held many sales management roles at IBM in the Storage division. Shaik’s personal interests include keeping fit through the gym and cricket and is well known for always having a positive ‘can do’ attitude. As for topics of interest, Shaik is passionate talking about anything to do with the ‘Acceleration’ portfolio.
